What is known today as Rohner AG for its high-quality planters, water features and bespoke metal solutions, began in 1907 in a small craft workshop in Teufen. There, our great-grandfather laid the foundation for a company that to this day is shaped by a passion for metal, precise handcraft and the pursuit of the highest quality.

Across four generations, knowledge has been passed on, experience has been built up and the business has been continuously developed. From traditional craftsmanship came new ideas, innovative products and modern manufacturing possibilities. What has always remained are our values: reliability, honesty, down-to-earthness and the ambition to create products that bring joy for many years.

Our roots lie in the Appenzellerland. In a region where a handshake’s worth, a sense of responsibility and long-term thinking have always been a matter of course. This attitude shapes our company to this day and forms the foundation of the trust that customers have placed in us for generations.

From the beginnings of a classic metal craft workshop, a modern company with an international focus has emerged. Today we develop and manufacture in Teufen high-quality planters, water features and bespoke metal solutions for private customers, architects, landscape architects, companies and public clients.

Our products find their place in private gardens, on terraces, in hotels, commercial buildings, residential developments and public spaces in Switzerland as well as in Germany, Austria and other European countries.

At our current location we bring together development, design, production, exhibition and administration under one roof. With state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies, a powerful machine park and a great deal of craft know-how, we create products here that combine design, function and durability.

What drives us is the joy of developing new solutions, the passion for high-quality materials and the ambition to carry out every project with the same care as if it were our own.
