Sheet Metal for Solar Installations
The most widespread way of generating renewable energy is by means of a solar installation. Producing your own electricity on the house roof or façade and contributing your part to the energy transition: this should be examined with a specialist company for every new build or major building renovation.
Solar installations are installed by certified specialist companies. Rohner AG completes the PV or solar installation into a watertight roof skin. All connections around a solar installation are crafted by us into a watertight roof unit using sheet metal perfectly adapted to the construction. There are many different systems on the market, all of which require different connection flashings. Thanks to the extensive experience of our company, we know the most diverse types of installation and connect them all watertight to the roof surface.

Material
The planters are made of aluminium, steel or stainless steel. All materials can be recycled.
Colour
The metals are powder-coated. Any colour can be powder-coated. Rohner AG has 20 colours in its own range.
Dimensionally Stable
Thanks to the right choice of material and the cross-bracing, the planters are dimensionally stable.
Resistance
The planter is weatherproof and winter-hardy thanks to the insulation. The temperature inside the planter never drops below 0°C.
Drainage
The Rohner planter is drained at the bottom through a drainage pipe. For lasting function, the drainage pipe is protected with a drain guard.
Water Level
At the bottom of the planter there is a 60 mm water level. This imitates groundwater and is important for the artificial ecosystem.
Protection
Thanks to the highly weather-resistant colours, your planter will not fade. We can offer over 10 years of warranty on the colour fastness.
10-Year Warranty
Rohner can offer a 10-year warranty on the Rohner planters.
