A lightning protection system does not prevent a strike, but immediately conducts the energy into the ground, reducing damage to a minimum. It is surely one of the worst things that can happen to a homeowner when a lightning strike sets the home, with all its memories, on fire. A large proportion of fires in Switzerland are caused by lightning strikes. With a lightning protection system, such a horror scenario is minimised.

Material
The planters are made of aluminium, steel or stainless steel. All materials can be recycled.
Colour
The metals are powder-coated. Any colour can be powder-coated. Rohner AG has 20 colours in its own range.
Dimensionally Stable
Thanks to the right choice of material and the cross-bracing, the planters are dimensionally stable.
Resistance
The planter is weatherproof and winter-hardy thanks to the insulation. The temperature inside the planter never drops below 0°C.
Drainage
The Rohner planter is drained at the bottom through a drainage pipe. For lasting function, the drainage pipe is protected with a drain guard.
Water Level
At the bottom of the planter there is a 60 mm water level. This imitates groundwater and is important for the artificial ecosystem.

Thanks to the highly weather-resistant colours, your planter will not fade. We can offer over 10 years of warranty on the colour fastness.
