Flat Roof
For the best possible use of space, today’s architecture often relies on flat roofs. With no loss of space from sloping roofs and attics, the entire volume is used right up to the roof. In terraced developments, the roof of the lower unit is optimally used as a usually generous terrace. With our planters and railing systems, we even create a feel-good oasis for you on a «flat roof».
With flat roofs, choosing to award the work to a tradesperson you trust is of great importance. Not infrequently, the sealing membranes are built over with entire roof gardens. In the event of any leak, these can only be dismantled and exposed with enormous effort.

Material
The planters are made of aluminium, steel or stainless steel. All materials can be recycled.
Colour
The metals are powder-coated. Any colour can be powder-coated. Rohner AG has 20 colours in its own range.
Dimensionally Stable
Thanks to the right choice of material and the cross-bracing, the planters are dimensionally stable.
Resistance
The planter is weatherproof and winter-hardy thanks to the insulation. The temperature inside the planter never drops below 0°C.
Drainage
The Rohner planter drains at the bottom through a drainage pipe. For lasting function, the drainage pipe is protected with a drainage guard.
Water Level
At the bottom of the planter there is a 60 mm water level. This mimics the groundwater and is important for the artificial ecosystem.
Protection
Thanks to the highly weather-resistant colours, your planter will not fade. We can offer over 10 years of warranty on the colour fastness.
10-Year Warranty
Rohner can offer a 10-year warranty on the Rohner planters.
